Mr. Keery holds degrees in History, Law, Information Science and Education from various schools such as University of Toronto, University of Western Ontario and York University. He is qualified as an intermediate and high school civics, history, law and information technology teacher. He taught these subjects for over 25 years at an Oakville private school. He is also a freelance author who has written two Canadian history books for young readers. Canada At War, about Canada’s role in World War Two, was nominated for the Hackmatack Award for Children’s Non-Fiction. He also writes articles about many subjects for magazines and newspapers.
